I would like to start a thread where everyone can post their empires
I've started a campaign with the Republic of Venice.
I'm in turn 63 or something.
I've been on war with Genoa for quite some time, but I'm about to break their back now. I've also had Jerusalem and Cairo, but I had to abandon them because of some difficulties with reinforcing armies.

I know what you mean with that, I took Jerusalem and I'm getting spammed with full egyptian stacks, in addition to the other full stacks because they decided to call a jihad on my ass.. My general got 10 stars or something by defending that settlement...

Well, actually at the time of this screenshot my economy was in red. I was fighting a war against the ten times stronger Byzantine Empire and was losing settlements, however after I lost Iraklion, Athens and Durazzo I called a crusade against Jerusalem. Doing this enabled my faction leader to hire a lot of crusader mercenaries and advance very fast because of the increased movement points. So right now I conquered Durazzo, Corinth, Athens, Thessalonica and Adrianople with my crusader doge . Money is still pretty tight though, around 3.000 per turn...

So i retook most of my cites (was bloody work) only Corinth remains part of the rebels/Latin empire. The venitains took durazo but i retook both of my islands from them.
The venitians now systematically attacka arta in an attempt to take it but im holding them, however there attacks have pinned down my FL and athens is vulnerable and sicly looks like it will take both cornith and athens.
Now my main problem, the pope called a crusade but it ended before most of the stacks reached Gaza. Now a stack from Venice, Sicily, HRE, TO, Hungry, Poland and Kiev (they just decided to sail and land at Constantinople) All in my regions most around Constantinople im getting that 4th crusade feeling
I took sofia but i cant hold it, so what do i do burn trebzibond and sofia then sell them to hel fund my defense as im at war with Venice, Sicily, Hungry and Poland (all have stacks) plus the turks. Or do i try and hold my cities, im partial to trebzibond i can maybe hold it but my real intention was just to sack sofia and move on to capture something else, but now i really need the troops and cant afford to leave a border garison to hold it.
Thoughts?

I can never get those dmn germans to give me a ceasefire after i take Bologna.

Well, I also took Innsbruck were I killed another German general, next to the faction heir at Bologna. A princes of the Reich approached me for a ceasefire, I asked 5000 florins, they accepted . I´m pretty happy about it at the moment because I really can´t take a war with the HRE next to my current wars with the Byzantin Empire and Genua. This is how my empire looks now:



Took Constantinopel, thus driving the Byzantines out of Greece, and Genua and Milan, driving the Genuese out of Italy.

Just buy it off them it may set you back a little but it's no real big problem unless you blitz.

Buying settlements from the AI is kind of cheating because the AI cant evaluate the offers properly

Trying out England for the first time and I had a very tough time knocking out Scotland. The Pope was from England and everytime I go for Scotland, he would tell me to cease fighting. And then I see the Scotts fighting me and taking one of my cities and the Pope does nothing . When I managed to get Scotland out of thier homeland all of my gains accross the English Channel were from fighting with the Scotts except one. The last city Scotland owned was Cologne, and after I took control of that city they were wiped out. Not much longer after that and HRC attacked me lol. Not sure if playing at H/VH is for me yet, still need to keep playing and learning. I've been allied with France for over 170 turns now and I have never seen that in any other TW game.

anyway my save file got corrupted so i started another campaign as the byzantines
late campaign, 6.1,manage all cities, h/vh,no supply






i guess sacking cairo and alexandria did good to my treasury
