I vote for Bohemia. It was important player in middleages - specialy in early era. Many of HRE emperors were kings of Bohemia first.

we surly need Albania and Bosnia to be new factions in new Stainles Steel.
I just don't get why everyone is so concerned about the Balkans. I'm not overly concerned about historical accuracy as the game progresses, but Hungary, Byzantium & Venice all fight over that area and it doesn't imbalance / overpower any of them.
In contrast, the giant gaping whole in Arabia means that the Fatimids, Khwarezmeans (and to a lesser extent, the Seljuk's), all become hugely overpowered. The Abassids are needed just to fill that gaping hole. Considering the Templars / Jerusalem could be merged into a simple Crusader faction, its not overly imbalancing elsewhere to make room for it either.
I'd also remove Ireland for Georgia simply to fill the small void there between Kiev, Cuman & Seljuk, as Ireland cripples England / Scotland slightly and doesn't really do anything as it stands. Likewise, Scotland & England have barely any rebels to fight over relative to neigbours like Norway, Denmark or France. England can ofcourse take a few provinces in Northern France, but then it just gets defeated on two fronts by the Scots / French. Though the main want I have is the Abassids, simply because i'm tired of seeing the Fatimids / Khwarz with 20+ regions and always being the Top 2 every single game.

It was actually Kievan Rus that kicked Khazars out. It happened when Rus warlords Oleg of Novgorod and Sviatoslav I of Kiev launched several wars against the Khazar khaganate, often with Byzantine connivance. The Schechter Letter relates the story of a campaign against Khazaria by HLGW (Oleg) around 941 (in which Oleg was defeated by the Khazar general Pesakh; this calls into question the timeline of the Primary Chronicle and other related works on the history of the Eastern Slavs.
Sviatoslav finally succeeded in destroying Khazar imperial power in the 960s. The Khazar fortresses of Sarkel and Tamatarkha fell to the Rus in 965, with the capital city of Atil following circa 967 or 969. A visitor to Atil wrote soon after the sacking of the city: "The Rus attacked, and no grape or raisin remained, not a leaf on a branch."

I fully support biohaker. The inclusion of Bulgaraia will make the Campaign map even more interesting.![]()
Abbasids caliphate would be best by far. There need to me more focus in that area.

Yeah that's the problem. But if they spawn when the Second Bulgarian kingodm was established in 1185 it will be awsome cus they have played a major role in the defeating of the Latin empire whic have captured the Byzantine capital Constantinople or maybe in the Late campaign beacause they had made their mark on the whole Balkan region.
georgia would be my second choice. I am purely thinking of what part of the map that needs factions added.
A faction like sweden added would be waste of a unit slot.

If only there were more free slots for the desirable factions by the players![]()
If only there was smart AI, crossbows working on walls, fast javelin throwing animation and a thousand other thing CA failed to fix over all those years...
Game is very slow even with the current number of factions, if we added 10 more, it would be unplayable past turn 20 ("supreme ruler 2020 syndrome").
I would go for Georgia, because there is empty space there, plus it would be nice to have another Orthodox faction. It gets kinda lonely with just the three.
I know, I think it would be fun to play as Georgia.
