I just found a small error on SS6

It says there that budapest is a city on the right hand side of the river..

Buda and pest were 2 cities in those days. Pest was on the left side of the river while Buda with its castle and so on was on the right side of the river, they wernt connected to gether untill 1873

There are some other errors : Transylvania region is called Brasov (after the capital city), Moldavia is called Bessrabia with capital to Iasi instead of Suceava, Bucharest is the capital of Wallachia instead of Targoviste.

Just looked up this mod after empire went CTD for the last time (It can't CTD if i don't play it )

Anyway - English game very good - although I seemed to have major money worries compared to other factions - even though i was way ahead - still it keeps it interesting

Then switched to a golden Horder late Era game - Man that is a LOT of fun! The rush to conquer before you've lost all your money! I went south Khaz are almost dead and I'm an establised power now - so its time to push on and take the holy lands!

Thanks for all the hard work - after the Dissipointment of CA and empire - to have a 'mod' install and work so easilery is heartwarming.

    to all those involved.

I'm not positive if this is in the right section to ask questions, but after beginning the campaign I've noticed that the turns go extremely slow. Sometimes 30-40 seconds. In Vanilla i had turn times of 3-4 seconds, and this slow down is really just... wow. I love the mod and everything about it, But its hard to continue playing with such slow turns. I've been playing for about an hour, and Im only on my 17th turn, And for the most part, since im lithuania, all im doing per turn is moving one general and building a few buildings, and then click, 30-40 second wait. Sometimes it'll get stuck on France and HRE and it'll take forever. It's as if the computer is thinking about its moves, lol. I have a good computer and everything, So I would think that the extra map area and factions wouldn't affect it too much.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    -Ultracougar

If you do a search in the main SS forum, you will find several threads about reducing the turn time. Please use the search function before posting. Thanks.

I was looking through that and I did install the BYG III or whatever it is. Realistic supply sub-mod or whatnot. I was wondering, how do I unistall that? I was searching through the mod and I couldnt find that exact thing.

    Reinstall 6.1 without selecting it.

Sorry for the continuous barage of nooby questions, But i downloaded the 6.1 patch and didnt select any mods, But I didn't unistall or choose any reinstall option for 6.1 that I already had downloaded. Did that fix it? Or do I have to unistall the previous copy.

No need to uninstall. Just reinstall 6.1 over the top.

If you have Kingdoms, then 6.1. If you dont have Kingdoms, then 4.1 because any later versions require kingdoms . 6.1 has many new features than earlier versions. Plus there is now a ton of submods for 6.1 so you can customise your gameplay to how you want it.

I've reinstalled Medieval and Kingdoms while I wait for Empire to be patched up, and I decided to try SS and see what all the fuss is about

What a mod, it's basically like a free expansion all by itself and is very professional. Big thanks

Is there a problem with the download for SS 6.0 part 1 of 2? I was able to download part 2 and the 6.1 patch, but part one's download has failed twice in a row.

EDIT - Never mind, the 4th time it worked and the download finished properly.

I agree with Smurf, this game is a total expansion and we got it for free, sure there maybe be some bugs on it, but then again most other games do too.

Did I just mention that this awsome game is free? Free Free Free

Download the three files (SS6.0 Part 1, Part 2 and SS6.1 patch). You dont need any earlier version. Make sure you install all 3 files.
