HI, I would play MTW 2 long ago, and now I´d like to start again. As I can remember I played vanilla, but after some time I got bored, because it was too easy even on VH/VH

Please recommend me some mods which make the game (both campaign and battles) harder. Thanks

Stainless Steel 6.4 with bygs grim reality V and G5 Really Bad AI + settlement fix, that will make the game really hard.

I'm looking for a mod that covers the medieval history of eastern europe. Mainly the Kingdom of Poland, Kievan Rus, Baltic tribes, Lithuania and so on. Would search myself, but site has been shite lately and it is easier just to ask you guys.

Man that's old... A VM on his profile from 2008 says it's mod thread was already in the morgue, so it must have been deleted a few years ago.

Is there a mod that enchants the Crusader campaign? Or anything that focuses on the Crusades?

I want one for a AAR.

Broken Crescent is excellent for the Levant campaigns and you can try out Battle for the Baltic submod for Stainless Steel for an improved Teutonic campaign, but many find the installation of SS to be really difficult for some reason(btw if you download SS then go for the torrent links, they are way faster).

Stainless Steel torrent doesn't have any peers. It had been downloading for one night and it hasn't found any peers. And I have pretty confident that I can't download it part by part.

Looks like I just have to use the vanilla Crusader Campaign.

Well, I guess that both the BC and SS torrents started finding peers because I have shut my PC down. I started a new torrent and it is right now downloading fine.

Was the lack of peers there because you were impatient? It can take up to a minute for the download to actually start once you have started it.

I have downloaded the SS torrent once it connected to the peers, but the Broken Crescent has taken 6 hours straight away and it is still not connected.
