Hi there fellow brothers.
What I must tell you is that I find Sicily an awesome faction. The only problem that stops me playing as them is they REBEL LOOKING COLOUR. I hate that dead gray , plus that is very similar to the rebels color and it's very , annoying!
Does anyone knows of a mod that makes a total recolour? I mean , units ,symbols , banners ?!
Please if anyone knows , reply here.
Few men are born brave; many become so through training and force of discipline.
Come the three corners of the world in arms, and we shall shock them.
I curious can you choose to play the vanilla game or different mods or can you only have one mod installed at a time such as SS 6.4. I am assuming that because the mods go into the "mods" folder they don’t change the vanilla game and that I can choose which mod to play?
Most mods allow you to play both vanilla and other mods. IT all depends if they are mod-foldered. They will often say if a mod is mod-foldered or not. SS is mod-fodlered, so you can play SS, Vanilla, and other mods easily
Just about all mods are modfoldered, I don't know about any mod that isn't modfoldered.
thank you!
Das Heilige Romische Reich 0.8 is about the only one for Kingdoms that I know of. As for 1.4, there's Bulgaria: Total War, The Hundred Years War and Anno Domini, none of which are modfoldered.
The link below will take you to an excellent tool for finding mods. If more people checked it, there'd be far fewer posts in this thread.

Hi! I've got a couple of questions:
First, I'm wanting to know if it's possible to take some of the units from the different campaigns (I'm specifically thinking "Crusades") and making them available in the vanilla Imperial Campaign? I'd like to add the opportunity to add Alamanoi and Pronoi (sp?) units to my Byzantine roster.
Second: Is it possible to make it so that the Mongols and the Timurids appear at a certain province? Like, have the Mongols appear in Sarkel and the Timurids in Baghdad? (If I'm remembering right, that's close to where both groups appeared historically.)
Thanks for the help!
KGCM mod integrate all kingdoms factions and units into the grand campaign
Okay, I'll look into it.
Also, is there a way for me to mod them in myself? I looked in my units file, but didn't see them there.
I don't know where the Crusades units are kept...
As near as I could tell, they're not in the same files that get unpacked to the main data folder.
I'm afraid I'm not a very good modder. All I've ever managed to do was the easy copy and paste sort of mods that you can find tutorials for here on the board. And I don't know where the Crusades units are kept...
As near as I could tell, they're not in the same files that get unpacked to the main data folder.
I am currently playing SS 6.4 and really enjoying the game! My one compliant is the diplomacy, specifically alliances. There should be stiff penalties for breaking alliances and the expectation that you send aid if your ally is in danger and vice versa. this may be asking too much, but has anybody made a mod where alliances are a little more realistic and hopefully compatible with SS 6.4?
For Kingdoms you will need to unpack the Kingdoms files too. There should be different files than vanilla Med2. Been a while I've done those things so I don't quite remember actually.
CIVITATVS CVM AVGVSTVS XVI, MMVI
I love Stainless Steel, but on my current computer, the turn times are extremely long. This even occurs on 6.1. What is another fun mod that is not as intense in turn times as Stainless Steel? I was thinking maybe Chivalry II or Thera? Any suggestions or advice are appreciated.
Hey I've been looking for a mod that that's sorta like the Britannia campaign with a small map and not as many factions.
