Once again, this topic probably only bears slight relevance to this branch of the forum as a whole, but again, you guys seem like the best candidates for the information I'm looking for.
Have you ever played the game Shogun, later renamed Samurai Swords? Fun game, right. Well I recently stumbled upon a company that makes some very nice 1/72 scale Samurai miniatures. And having seen someone else do the same, I though, I'll make a Samurai Sword game of my own. I can find the rules online and I'll use those miniatures. In the end I'll have a board game of slightly higher quality than I could buy. But I come upon but one real snag. I need a map of Japan, specifically I need a topographical map of Japan depicting acurately most if not all of the many states of Japan during Sengoku Jidai. And yes I NEED a map of japan. The game board alread with Samurai Swords is just too small for the miniatures I intend on using. So I need to find in one form or another a good map of japan I can blow up if necessary and copy/print so that I can be used as the new board.
Now obviously you modders have to have at least seen one in order to be doing this mod. If any one has any little bit of information that could point me in the right direction that would be great.
Oh, and I have looked on the internet already. All I've come up with are geographical maps, modern day topographical maps, and very very VERY poor topographical maps of the era I'm looking for.
