    i've found this link on startegy informer, it appears to be good, but i have not tried it!

    No sorry, GUAM is only for Retrofit. CCM2 includes 26 of the newer Kingdoms units and some additional previously locked units. I might look at incorporating GUAM into a future version of CCM.

    You have missed adding Dismounted Conqiustadores, Dismounted New World Cuirrasiers and perhaps some other units in CCM2. If you're going to make a new CCM version, be sure to add ALL of the Kingdoms corresponding units.
    Perhaps you can also work out something with the AI's? Maybe incorporating XAI f.e.
    Oh and the Kingdoms Northern European Castle chain strat map models and brick castles for the Eastern European factions campaign and battle maps.

    CCM2 has the Dismounted Conquistadores (Spain, Portugal) and New World Cuirassers (England, France). Conquisadores (mounted and dismounted) were in Vanilla M2TW. I think I added pretty much all the Kingdoms units for existing factions minus the new world bodyguards. It would be a lot of work to add the remaining Kingdoms units since I also need to either include their factions or add them to an existing faction, tweak the textures/data and rebalance the faction tech tree. If I do add these units, it might be easier if I include either GUAM or the KGCM model and unit dbs.

    I am very familiar with the campaign AI so if I was to change anything, I would probably write my own. I am looking into creating a thread for known Retrofit/CCM2 compatible sub-mods (XAI is one such sub mod) along with links so players can install these if they prefer.

    folks I need help. I am back to playing after a VERY long hiatus. This mod, it is for kingdoms or standard m2tw? and this mod is all of retrofit plus a bigger grand campaign?

    EDIT: NVM, got it working fine. But, when I choose Tyronia campaign, it crashes to desktop.

    Not sure what could be causing the crash, I might need some more information:

    1) Have you modded any CCM2 or M2TW files yourself in any way?
    2) Have you installed any other mods or sub mods?
    3) Have you used the unpacker?
    4) Which version of Kingdoms do you have installed (you can check under the main menu options)
    5) Could you try uninstalling the mod, completely deleting the custom_campaign_2 mod directory and reinstalling?
    6) Could you please uncomment the logging entries near the start of "medieval2.custom_campaign_2.cfg? Then try again and check the end of the error log for any warnings or errors:

    So does this include GUAM? I've already got GUAM installed, but reading through the features list, it seems like it has all of that included (Kingdoms units + unused vanilla units).

    Just wondering. Will I have to uninstall GUAM first if I want to install this?

    CCM2 does not include GUAM. CCM2 contains some of the kingdoms units but GUAM contains most (or all) of them.

    You do not need to uninstall GUAM to install and play CCM2. GUAM installs to the Retrofit mod folder and CCM2 installs into its own mod folder. You can have both mods installed at the same time.

    I thought CCM2 installed to the Retrofit folder too. My apologies.
