It was good. Not great, but not bad.
It was well-acted by most of the actors. But...Jake Gylenhaal messed it up; the gay cowboy's weren't the only thing that was wooden (i.e, so was Gylenhaal's acting). Heath Ledger did a good job, though, as usual. But, the fact that it was a romance film detracts from the mostly okay acting to the point that Brokeback Mountain is just a mediocre gay cowboy movie.

Nah. It's a good movie. Just hoped it'd be better, as a gay cowboy movie. Chances are, there are better gay cowboy movies out there.
But that doesn't detract from BBM being a good film.

I probably won't ever be seeing this film, if I do, I would see it out of curiosity. Seems way overrated though.
