My Radeon 9600 Sapphire is acting up. Im getting a Pattern of Colored lines (Blue..Green...Red..White..etc) instead of a normal picture when booting up. I once got a Normal Picture once in a while but that has ended. Overheat? Something with the Monitor Port?

Any Suggestions? The card it self looks fine with no Overheat Marks.

    are you overclocking?
check to make sure the fan is running.
have you tried re-seating the card? or re-seating the fan?
i had this problem w/ the same card but it was a result of overclocking...

Nope, No Overclocking. I'll try reseating the fan. (Taking it off completely, Right?)

When you take the Card out get a lead pencil that has an eraser and use the eraser on the contacts. It will remove any metal to metal corrosion build up un the contacts.

But it sounds like you might be having a video card that has/is going bad. If you have another card you can put in to test if you get the same problem on boot. That will tell you if it is the card cuasing the problem.
