The last set of units were really beautiful, being the Evocati my favourite so far.
Although this may disappoint some people, I am indeed alive, I just went inactive for three years.
I'm having trouble with your Gaul_infantry; Sword. In game his face and legs do not show up. He almost looks like a ghost wearing armor. All of your other units have worked great for me. Is this a glitch with the unit or am I doing something wrong? If it is my screw up do you have any idea what what I have done that could be causing this? I have checked my files over and over again, and can not find the issue. Do I need a specific skeleton for this unit? I've tried fs_swordsman; fs_short_swordsman or however it is spelled as well as the barb version. Any ideas?
Hmm. I have noticed recently that models with to many attachments + skinned elements can cause a bug where some elements don't show in game. It's quite probable that this unit has to many attachments, some of these have separate legs/arms/heads as well as the usual weapons shields. They all worked for me but maybe I missed something or posted a wip instead of the finished version. I'll take a look later today. Thanks for highlighting the problem.
Thanks for taking a look at this. I also tried the Celt_heavy_infantry; Spear/Sword because it looks a lot like the Gaul_infantry; Sword, but this model seems to cause CTD during battlemap loading. It waits until the loading bar is complete and you think everything looks like it is going to work, but at the last second I get a CTD. Your other models have worked well for me and they look great. Unfortunately the two models that I anticipate being the best are not working for me. I axiously await news from you after you have a chance to check this out.
Also, I was wondering if the Celt_heavy_infantry; Spear/Sword and the Gaul_infantry; sword are supposed to be short model skeletons because in their unit cards they both look a little bit like dwarves from World of Warcraft.
I've had a look, I think my previous assessment was probably right. To many attachments. I've merged as many as I can without changing the look of the units but at the moment I've not got time to actually test them in game. As soon as I can I'll put them up again, probably this weekend..
Oh and yeh, they do kind of look like dwarfs .. or do dwarfs look like celts!..
I rather imagine it is the latter.Originally Posted by Halie Satanus

Any luck with this yet?
