EB v1.1 released!

I installed 1.1 over 1.0. I do not seem to be having any problems playing the game, do I need to uninstall and reinstall 1.1, or just worry if I eventually encounter a CTD or bug? I guess that I am asking if there are known or expected issues with my method of installation, 1.1 over 1.0.

I had to manually delete the EB 1.0 files. Windows Add/Remove did not work. I deleted everything that said EB, but I can’t be sure.

I don’t know if you can say I installed it over 1.0 or not. However, it was not installed on a fresh and clean RTW 1.5.

em take a wild guess you need to install it on a fresh clean RTW 1.5 or uninstall EB through the uninstaller, it wont work if you dont have a clean rtw 1.5

Yep. Just like some things built today, they can be extremely expensive and hard to build but not have much of a point.

This is a great game. It's been awhile since I last played EB, so the differences between the two versions are kind of obscure to me, but I forgot how challenging and how fun this mod was. So far the only RTW mod that made me seriously consider cheating .

Please bear with a technophobe - I play EB and other mods because I love immersive history, not because I have a desire to understand my PC or the inner woirkings of EB itself!

Still have problems installing EB1.1 - why do I now have installation problems with 1.1 but NEVER with all previous builds of EB?

Isn't the RTW directory exactly where the EB1.1 installer is pointing to anyway?

Personally think the problem is the .exe linked to the EB singleplayer icon - I get the icon after installation (but not on desktop like documentation) but when clicked on to play I get the error-pop-ups

How do I rectify this?

Just wait a second, be patient it is a big mod and it takes a longer time than vanilla as it is much bigger.

I have the same problem probably due to the Vista system.
Just direct all installation to the RTW program folder even though adviced not to do so. After which just click on the single player icon. You cab also put this icon on your desktop as shortcut.

I attempted to uninstall EB 1.0 so I could install 1.1, but after waiting an hour and the uninstall program still running I decided just to install 1.1 over it. It seems to be working, I don't know how I can tell if all the Script is though.
