I read the install instructions and system reqs but I don't understand them in the least bit. Can someone simplify them for me, or maybe even send me the game files that are already installed?
I really want to play this mod.

Check the official forums for more help - http://www.thefourthage.org though I am not sure how they could be more simple :hmmm:
Summarized they are:
Install a clean RTW
Install BI
Patch up to 1.6 from sega.com IF version is not already 1.6 (see Options in-game menu)
Install FATW 2.0b
Install latest mod patch (2.5)
And install the music pack too.
In all these cases of installing the mod, make sure the path is pointed in the installer to where your RTW BI exe file exists.
FATW has a simple installation process, the *only* thing the player really needs to do is check the installer path is correct - and the deafult setting will be right in most peoples' cases anyway.
Simple

Yeah, I read them more carefully and installed. I started palying, and I enjoy it. It's kind of a challenge. You can't bribe Adunabar, for some reason! As the Gondorians.
No, 2.0B. What does 2.5 do, and do I have to uninstall 2.0b to get it?
It's a patch. When installing a mod you install the release (or build) and the latest patch. Again, this is stated in the threads and stickied. Please read carefully

Is the music pack download integrated into the 2.5 patch?

Member of Narnia total war, it just happened one day.
If I beg you will you model for me?
Nope, it's a separate download, compatible of course with all 2.x versions. Link HERE.
Ok thanks, one last thing, if it says available disc space: 0 mb, does it mean I have to delete fiels from my C drive folder, defragment both drives? I've defragmented by D drvide, deleted a heap of files from both drives and when I check my properties on my drives it says I have 10 GB or more. When I start fourth age total war it freezes at the loading screen sicne I installed the 2.5 patch and I have to re-boot the computer. I think I installed when there was no disc space, and it still doesn't work even after much deletion of files.

the best thing to do is having like 20 % of your HD space free (if not you'll be in a lot of trouble) and reinstall FATW then 2.5 patch.
It's possible you 've deleted files that FATW needs to run properly.
Hey guys,
I've seen this mod for a while now, and always thought it interesting. However, there's a few questions that I'd like answered:
1. Does this need to copy of both RTW and BI to install this mod on? Or is it just BI that I need.
2. Not counting the original files, how much harddrive space will this mod take up?
a) BI needs RTW anyway, so I'm not following you there. The mod is playable only with BI right now and will only copy files from the "bi" folder, if that's what you mean.
b) After the installation the mod needs about 1 GB roughly iirc. The download itself of course is much smaller. The 1 GB includes files that already exist in BI and were copied into our modfoldered from there, I can't give you an exact size of purely FATW files...
For my first question, I know you need RTW for BI, but I was just asking cos if it was just BI that I needed, I'd just need to copy the BI folder without making another copy of the RTW folder.
EDIT: Never mind, I didn't know it was mod-foldered.

Um.... "A Modification for BI 1.6 that exists entirely within its own modfolder!" in bold as a subtitle under the main heading from the download announcement post didn't give it away?
