Two Motions, one constitutional!

I have two motions for you to vote in senatores.

Motion 1:

The definition of a Quaestor
Heavy workload - duration of one year.
He may use the save game if the pronconsuls are not available.
Appointed by the proconsuls only.
Can be re-elected consecutively.
One quaestor for three proconsuls (Depending on area: Africa, Sicily and Gaul for example as they are all attached by the mediterranean. Asia would need it own Quaestor
He would act as the intermediary between the senate.
They will send the proconsuls all motions passed and discussed in the senate (ie:senate dispatches / similar to Praetor who remains in Rome)
This will keep the proconsul informed of what is happening in the senate.
They will assist the proconsul in his duties (ie:if a proconsul elect is absent they may act on his behalf for the proconsulate.)
Their imperium is equal to the proconsul should the proconsul be absent.
His office is roaming which means he may reside in any of the proconsulate areas or Rome.

Motion 2:

The formation of Africa Romanum from the African territories conquered in the Punic Wars AND CORSICA AND SARDINIA. It will be a province under the jurisdiction of a Propraetor or Proconsul as usual.

If voted against, you are voting for Corsica and Sardinia to remain a province in their own right

what about the joining of the two islands to Sicily. Two islands with two cities is not worth having someone leave Rome to govern. Four should be the minimum.

Let me get this straight...

Corsica and Sardinia are to join Sicily as the islands.

Africa to become its own province.

Alternative or No vote is.

Africa to become a province.

Sicily and Sardinia remain singular apart from Sicily.
If so they must fall under the Romes authority.

No REx, I must have been talking about this with Winter or someone else, If you join them to Sicily, that governor then has seven cities, by join it to africa, there are 5 in each province.

Ok, people seem confused, here.

The second motion is that Africa shall be formed of the african cities and Sardinian and corsican cites. If you vote against it, Afric is formed WITHOUT S and C which stay as a seperate province. If you wish to change your vote, tell me please.

Oh and First motion is passed. So all Quaestors are fired and a new single Quaestor should be appointed, and seeing as only the Proconsul of Corsica and Sardinia is available to choose one, he can choose one.

Also, at the next elections Africa Romanum is up for grabs, live like a king? far away from the senate in luxury!

it may be seven citites but africa will grow to even larger.

At present Africa is 4 cities and Sicily is 5.
Adding the two would bring Africa to 6.
Maybe these two citites should rather be incorporated into what will be the North west Province eventually.

Because 70% wasn't achieved, and no more senators are active, the second motion fails. Until then, Corsica and Sardinia shall remain a province.

Also, I thinkt that Marcvs Lvcretivs Falco should remain as a Quaestor running Sicily until the Proconsuls can shoose another one.
