Well, that's depend on what you call "new" models. Nearly 50% are not from vanilla. Some are adaptations of alex and bi units, others are from Terra Expugnandae.
The next batch will have no more vanilla, bi, Alex, or Te units, only proper, more detailed models.

Not at all man, i always prefer critics to improve the mod. Some of the new models i working on will be on the english beta2 release, but i make everything possible also to make it roll on a brand new map.

The units are very good I think you guys just need to put bigger previews (like RS2's or EB's) and make special "featured" screenshots rather than the battle screens, which are usually too messy. Also it'd be better if you save images in the lossless .png format instead of .jpg.

Well, when you says "guys", you can also say "coco", as i am the current full-time coder, scripter, skinner, modeller, graphist, and previewer...
When you talk about "featured" screenshots, you make a reference to the 3-views dsmax screens from RS ? or close camera views in custom battles ? (the two, in png of course, and in spoilers, are a perfect choice i guess)...
RS delighted previews are still a reference for the team.

The BETA2 official goes on, with EB animations, sinhutet 0.7 formations, and tons of new units. The whole thread will be deplaced in a new section for the beta 2 official thread, the catw general subforum.

You can try custom battle with the movie camera. It allows you to get very close to the units.

Thx. All will be new in this mod version. I hope to find the way to have specific models also for each faction's generals and captains.

All vanilla 3d models were reshaped, and dozens new added, far more than available DMB entries... Now working on alternative new skins... And i found a MM map which seems working properly. The mods is in good tracks now, but long ago its release... The english version of beta2a should be ready soon.
