I like my own independent faction

it's tough choice, but I'm currently allied with the Nords, but I could go Khergits since my character is a horse archer.

It's a close call between Swadia and Vaegir. Good archers or good crossbowmen...
But Vaegir win, by being placed nicely in the middle. Gives you room to raid

EDIT: Or... What is the middle? I'm not sure...:hmmm:

I'll tell you which ones I like hunting down. I like hunting Swadians it's funny when they get mad because they can't catch a good horse archer

EDIT: but I hate getting out numbered by them...

Yea Swadians are tanks, especially in sheltered or hilly areas

But those Khergits are absolute demons! Both in the field and in sieges! I once had 4 of my Swadian Inquisitors (basically knights, but better from the Band of Warriors mod) killed by Khergit Tribesmen, courtesy of couched lances

Well Swadians have the advantage when they can corner you with mounted knights. Kergits I find are more deadly with the bows, but I'm less scared of taking on more of them than Swadians in Band of Warriors.

Since you mentioned it, I wondering does your Nord cav use two-handers such as axes? I'm wondering what you think of the effectiveness of it. Seems rather slow to me and can hold you up in a melee big time.

Well I hire foreign mercs to do that. Usually Vaegers or Khergits.

Vaegir are the strongest - no doubt.. An ideal army would consist of their master archers (basicly medieval machineguns) and knights.
But I find the Khergits far cooler (equipment and such)
