Running a Test on CAE v1.4

Because of some numerous CTD reports,I decided to first make a back up of my CAE,and then removed it completely.I just downloaded the CAE v1.4 just like everyone else.And I'll be running extensive tests.I'll try and play a full campaign(all the way to 1530 with a certain faction,also testing all faction's troops in custom battles.This will be time consuming but it will be worth the trouble in case I encounter some problems that the others have,so will be able to fix them..

I just wanted you guys to know that.

EDIT:

I'm currently playing Mongols and at the year 1204 no CTD's sofar.I've engaged in battles with the Russian possibilities,no Ctd's there,too.I'll keep testing until I reach 1530.I've reached the year 1300 nothing sofar.I've reached the year 1400 and have decided to conclude the test.Not a single ctd occured.

That's great to hear jimmy but could you give a specific year,which year have you reached?In other words how far you got?

Wow that makes about at least the year 1420 I guess..(normally it should be 1492..)

Just one last question before the interrogation is over,was that at v1.4?

when I tried to dowload 1.4 it was installed to 80+% and then it said taht the installation was unable to finish ebcause of something in the imperial_campaign sicily thing.

Thank you..So other than Sweden it seems you experienced CTD's,as far as I've understood..:hmmm:

Hello Loet Have a good night,too.. This test I'm running is essential.If I won't encounter a CTD I'll check every single file,and see if I left out any,and include them as well.(from the main m2tw folder)

Just reached 1300,nothing again.

I've reached the year 1400 and now I'm concluding the test not progressing until 1530 as I haven't encountered any problems.

Here are my results:

-Tested until 1400.
- No ctds occured. (engaged in battles with Teutons,Rebels Lithuanians and Russian Principalities.)
- The ctd related to graphical ui mess didn't occur.However I'm sure that it still exists since I haven't addressed it yet,and trying to find a way to solve it.
- I have tried it on the latest CAE which is currently the uploaded one.
- I have patch v1.2+Kingdoms installed.
- I have windows xp

In any case,I will check carefully whether some files are uploaded or not.Now I will port the new extended map to CAE v1.4,and will continue to work on it.One last reminder is to use the original copy of m2tw and in any case refrain from using any cracked exes.

That also catched my attention,normally they conquer middle europe and the French lands,in that campaign they expanded more logically though.
