battle map ctd

Hi guys!

The mod is very cool and accurate. But I cant play with it. Every time I start a campaign already I get cd in my first battle when the general finishes speaking to the troops and the camera would zoom to my troops.

In custom battle I can play the battle through without any ctd.
I have a Hp 530 laptop with a built-in video card, that may be a problem.

My settings are reasanobly low, wno shadows, anti-alyasing is on.

Please help.

OKay. Finally I could download the patch and the game is working. It was my fault, false alarm...

Well, I still get ctd when playing by the vandals!

I think -as I've read about this problem or similar problems regarding this mod- that some image files or models are buggy. Maybe some generals?
When windows gives an error message it refers to a dll. file though.

Ps: yes i am a huge Marillion, krautrock, prog rock, etc fan. And a Julianus fan as well Are you too?

Can you be more specific with this, I haven't heard of this one before, but I am aware of a dll file. Sounds more like an install problem.

Yes I'm a big fan of marillion. In fact i flew all the way from Australia last year to Amsterdam for their convention and even managed to score lunch with the boys.

And yes, also a big fan of Julianus which is why I put this mod together based on the original by Goth.

Okay. I reinstalled the whole thing, IJ run from the Rome TW directory, and the ctds are gone.
I mean the battle map ctds.

I play on my home computer with it as well.
But still sometimes when a battle starts or ends the game freezes. No ctd but I cant load the battle or the map again, the picture just freezes onto the screen, cpu running 100 procent, but ram doesnt.

Thats not nice. I like the game so much why is this happening to me?

:hmmm:Not sure what's happening here, but I get the feeling that it might be a graphics card issue. Try reducing your video settings to low and see if that makes a difference.
