    Default Questions regarding MOD

    Hello Guys,

    I would like to congratulate you on the superb job you guys have done so far.

    I have a question regarding settlements.

    1. How are you going to implement cities and castles into this mod?

    2. 4tpy is awesome, so I wanted to know how far an army can travel in one season?

    3. As you know, cavalry is devastating in M2TW. How will cavalry be represented in the mod?

    4. Will there be RPG elements in the game (kinda like DLV)?

    5. I know everybody asks this, but what is the current ETA for release?

    6. When released, will the mod be complete (of coarse with a hotfix that will most likely follow) or will it be a beta version? (personally, I hope you finish complete, so that way I don't have to wait for update after update. But who cares about me. lol jj)

    Thank you for taking the time to come up with something so original. I have been waiting for a mod that I could play as the samnites for so long, and you guys have granted my wish.

    It's only devastating because of high mass in the text files, and all of those can be edited.


    4. Will there be RPG elements in the game (kinda like DLV)?
    You bet, there'll be ancient cities in the Po Valley that the Gauls destroyed, the ancient legendary city of Sybaris (its ruins, really). Plus there'll be greek philosophers occasionally travelling southern Italy uncontrolled by either you or the AI. And of course 'religions' will be 'cultures' so you'll have to be spreading the importance of your culture around (which is where Greek philosophers possess a curious advantage...). Etc, lots of stuff.

    Well, take a look at the Progress thread to get some idea of the estimate. But obviously a more specific timeline can't really be given.

    Depends on what you mean by 'complete'. The first versions for download will be betas, probably closed beta for a select few people to try out. But the version that will be called 'complete' will actually be complete

    Complete as in a solid mod that has barely any CTD's, unless caused by the computer unit.

    I love DLV, so if this has elements of that in it, so much the better! What are you going to do with princesses in this mod?

    Princesses are actually still an open question at this point. It's very likely their models will be remade to create something else, a different type of unit, as its highly improbable they'll remain as princesses in the game.

    This mod is looking fantastic...i hope though that you do not go to far in to the rolll playing element,as DVL did, that game was so slow and impossible to finish a campaign.......it had so many bugs...Anywa, i am, like every one else who has an interest in angient history very excited about this mod and judging by the progress it wont be to long before we are routing the Greeks form italy... or sending a massed gallic host to the Rubicon..Arhhhhhhhh like grey hounds eger for blood.

    Well a balance needs to be struck, roleplay is nice, but it's important for it to have some effect on the game, and not just be for its own sake as well.

    Just a little notice - can you maybe fix the overlaying text? Just put it a little higher so that ANNO CCCCXX AB URBE CONDITA is not covered with Radices Imperii TW.

    Definitely better - it can be considered a final version.

    So you are the one who made those teasers for RTR Iberian conflict? They are really good! Would you in near future be interested to make one for us?

    Yes I made teaser, intros and release movie. However I didnt shoot ingame seqs (just adviced how I wanted them) and talked with the composer to get suitable music.

    I've been following this mod for quite a long time now and I have to say it looks superb!!! Great work guys!!!

    For now, I have one simple question: will the celtic factions be using bright, colorful designs for their shields? I'd like that a lot!
