DLV 5.4 Hotseat

Can someone explain me how to enable Hotseat in DLV 5.4? I edited the files DLV_ext.cfg and Medieval_preferences.cfg adding this:

[multiplayer]
playable = true

[hotseat]
autoresolve_battles = 0
disable_console = 0
disable_papal_elections = 0
save_prefs = 1
update_ai_camera = 1
validate_diplomacy = 1
turns = false
scroll = false

And it doesn't work (it works with Vanilla but not with DLV)

check this thread out. It deals with hotseating earlier versions of DLV, and should be applicable to this problem.

I've read the page before and have done everything as it says in it, but it doesn't work. I tried reinstalling, it doesn't work. I tried copying your cfg file from that thread, nothing. I have a fresh medieval + kingdoms installed, DLV 5.4 + hotfix1.

hmmm I can't help you much from here, as im at uni and dont have access to MTW2. Hopefully this bumpage should help you out when someone kind figures out how to help you.

Now I have DLV 5.5 and the same problem. I edited medieval2 preference.cfg and DLV_ext.cfg but Hotseat works only with Vanilla. Help please?

I'm sorry, but I have to bump this thread. I have asked this before with previous versions, but no one seemed to had an answer. I really want to play DLV in hotseat, but I've got a problem with it - it won't do it. I add the following lines in DLV_ext.cfg:

I open the game, select the main campaign and when I want to select the second faction, it just makes it first. To better explain it, the first one doesn't remain highlighted => no hotseat.

You do not go through the main campaign to play a hotseat. From the main menu go to multiplayer --> then hotseat mode
