I have a small question to you. How did you modify those helmets with the correct modelled cheekguards, that the alpha channels arent necessary.
I have been trying to import models from rtw, but those black alpha channels kinda limits the selection.
Did you add polygone by polygone yourself? Or is there a simpler way? (quite new at editing the models)
The cheek piece model and the texture need to be the same shape.
In rtw units the cheek piece models are sometimes just squares, only shaped by the alpha channel on the texture, which creates the black outline. But if you create the shape of the cheek piece on the model instead, polygon by polygon, and then match the texture you have no problems with the alpha. Hope this helps, if not i can produce pictures of what i mean.

Poly by poly, smells like a lot of work. Goal is to transform a thracian helmet with face mask. I will give it a try this weekend.
Its not to bad after you get the basics of modelling and a few time saving techniques. Also check the artist studio for tutorials, here.
Basically yeah, you make the cheekpiece texture a background, and then model a 3d shape based on its outlines.

If you want your units added, PM Signifer and ask to join the team. We are very small team for such a big mod.
Sacred band and Numidians are all nice and good.. but for Carthage to be a true Carthage it needs Elephants.

I am not in the PI team but as a modder I would recommend to send them through PM to Signiferone as it's the way things are done when u want your work was put into the original mod if u are not making a submod of course, so my advice would be to send them to Signiferone

Sweet stuff. I just downloaded this mod last night and I am loving it. So does this mean basically all units will be revamped for all (or most) of the factions?!! Really exciting, keep up the good work team!

Correct. I am the man going through each unit to update them and fix some parts. After that we will get down to a full overhaul with new unit models and equipment. There are a few pictures posted here every now and again.
Anyway im glad you like the mod. Soon there will be an update patch to fix some issues, and also with some unit updates.
AWESOME!! I love this timeframe, and the map style, small map, lots of cities.
