    Default some questions

First good luck on your mod. I find the classical antiquity more interesting than the age of feudalism, knights and such. I looked through the above posts but I still had some questions.

One of the posts mentioned the starting age in the 4th century with the end at the punic wars. Would that mean you are looking at a roughly 350 bc to approx 200 bc for the time period of this mod? Will the mod map be similar in size to the vanilla map? How many turns per year are you planning? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Roughly 350 BC to 250BC, so UP TO the Punic wars, although that could easily be expanded to later on, if necessary.

For map, take a look at the map preview, specifically the minimap.

    4 turns per year.

I feel the same way, this era is much more interesting than the medieval era. While older, everything feels more advanced and refined, and less "dirty".

4 turns a year, meaning 400 turn campaigns, are rather long. Would it be possible to mod it to 2 once released with the game still working correctly? I know it probably can't, but I'm just curious as I don't like to play with just one faction for so long.

Yeah sure you'll be able to mod turns per year very easily. Btw 400 turns might seem long but on the other hand, I really want the player to be able to jump right to the conflict with Pyrrus in 270s BC, so it's very likely that we'll implement Eras, where you'll be able to jump right to a moment in history; or, play from the beginning if you'd like.

Cool! If you get the eras sorted for the first release it will be amazing. I would love to jump straight into Pyruss' shoes without playing through the whole game! Best of luck with it!
