    here you can find all the previews and be part of the dicussion regarding this faction, this faction isn't at all new, but a replacement for the vanilla CA Russia, new symbols, new skins, new starting position.....

    Hi there Ataegina,

    Looking good!

    However, a couple of constructive suggestions:

    1. Tone down the colour slightly - its a little painful to look at it at the moment (too flourescent ).

    2. Starting position is a little bit off, in terms of historical accuracy.

    This is a decent map to show the situation around the starting date. As you can see, Chernigov is a principality in its own right (as powerful as Kiev, if not more actually), so IMO it should be rebel at the start and have a very strong garrison.

    I think its better to have Kiev start with Kiev (obviously ), Halych and Turov, with a nearby Pereyaslavl as easy pickings.

    I can make more detailed suggestions if you could maybe post screenshots of the area or just a settlements/provinces list...

    thanks for the suggestions, but this start positions are just for we test the faction ingame, to know if this runs without any ctd etc etc

    obviously this ill be improved until the release, kiev its their homeland so this obviously ill be for them, so we just need pick another historical region, probably Halych

    How about adding some heavy infantry unit with swords,or modding the existing one so it can have swords? In vanilla there are Dismounted Druzina and Dismouted boyars sons and they are both armed with axes, they have same stats and same upkeep, essentialy the same unit with different skins. Is it possible that Dis druzina keep it's axes and Dis boayar sons have their axces repalced with swords and could maybe have some higher attack stats?

    As we can see sword was in use along with the one-heanded axe. This is picture of fully equiped Rus heavy infantrymen, axe and sword were used optionally,depending on foe. In game they could be represented as two different units.


    Also adding some better spear unit would be nice, or just reskining the existing one from vanilla cause it doesn't resemble originall at all:
