hey Sig1, do you plan to make model variations?
Hi guys! How's the work going?

Zooming in will be quite a different experience... a realistic one!Originally Posted by SigniferOne![]()
So work continues on animations. So far all spear units engage in vigorous spear/shield strike and block combat. The only time a soldier keels over is when he's about to die; all other times he tries to block the attacks of his enemy, to the left, to the right, and to the front. It's a pretty interesting experience, quite new from the standard Vanilla fare. Now, the same system is being almost finished with sword units.

Wonder if anyone knows what this might be:
EDIT: Ok we'll show later.
Some path to a hidden treasure?

Oh god you previewed it
What is "It"?
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok I removed it!
Important question : With TATW keep people occupied enough until this comes out?
I don't mind!
Purpose of PI' isnt catching by the audience of a mod like TATW... exactly what happens when I, lover of Rome blablabla, i install an Australianocentric mod based on Maori for example. Even if i have installed it maybe because of my curiousity or because people spoke well about this game, the fact i have installed it doenst mean i could find a sort of passion or love playing it exactly as for anything not reguarding my matter aka Romans. PI doesnt need casual gamers as they're called technically. We are a niche-product and the basin of our audience are the lovers of ancient Mediterranean history
To me, lovers of ancient Mediterranean history constitute a vast chunk of those who like history. Especially those on this forum, most of whom are fans of Roman history.
I am under the impression PI fans are not so impressed with TATW.
The fantasy genre is based on super-human, predestined heros, magic, total absence of economical & political concepts. One would say the TW series is inadequate to fantasy mods - the success of TATW and CoW is inexplicable to me...
However, in PI I am looking for historical (and ethnical) accuracy - ok, there are battles in TATW, but is that enough ?
Please let's stop talking about other mods.. we dont want opening some contentious here. Closing the argument, i personally like tatw technically and not only that. But i m not a sci-fi fan and hardly i play sci-fi mods even if they're excellently good made and i would like to see this mod having its own niche-audience without drawing them by other basins as the sci-fi one etc. etc.
Indeed we don't want any contentious here, TATW is a tremendous mod, and I personally downloaded 2.0 the day it was released myself. Reuniting Arnor is interesting. I don't see why popularity of mod B weans away people from mod A. Last I checked people can have more than 1 mod installed in their game.
