As you probably know from April 19 until May 16, 1943 in Warsaw a large scale uprising of the Jewish population was crushed with considerable effort by the German forces under Brigadeführer Jurgen Stroop. The German forces consisted of an average daily force of 2,054 soldiers and 36 officers, including 821 Waffen-SS Panzergrenadier troops (consisting of five SS reserve and training battalions and one SS cavalry reserve and training battalion), as well as 363 Polish Blue Policemen.
Opposing them were the starved and poorly supplied residents of the Ghetto with some limited support from the Polish resistance.
Now I wonder:
If Stroop was facing a similar number of members of inner city gangs armed with Uzis, AK-47s and Mac-10s (armor piercing bullets and all) and a relatively good stash of "Pandemic" "Dark Horse" PSP, Crack Cocaine and angeldust, would the outcome be any different?
Would the brothers prevail or Stroop would have his way in dealing with the downtown street as successfully as with the one s of Warsaw.
Please, keep it real.
