    In the sake of consolidating a few threads, I'm opening up this thread for discussion of Xeryx and Naimad's XAI for PDER.

    No problem, Social infidel!! Is is my pleasure!! Be prepared guys, this is the going to give you a real challenge!!! But don't take my word for it, go play it!! I will be back with some screen shots. Forgot to mention, the last update is save game compatible!! If you are already playing with the XAI. I never imagined, that battles could actually keep me challenged!! Darth Vader was correct when he told me this game engine has so much potential!! It was just poor programing that kept it held back!!

    I will say this regarding XAI.

    I am noticing a marked improvement with the army compositions since I've been using it. For example, in the various auto-run campaigns I played during beta-testing Georgian armies consisted primarily of spearmen and Kypchak horse archers.

    I'm now noticing the Georgians are actually developing their military buildings and throwing some of their elite units at me in my Seljuq campaign. I've seem armies with top-tier Monaspa swordsmen and Horse Archers, as well as a good number of Eristavi swordsmen around. They weren't really doing that before.

    all i can say is WOW!

    the AI is much better!!

    im playing as egypt again, and i just had a battle with the sejuks my 850 v 1000, i thought nothing of it...
    started the battle and i got HAMMERED im talking beating like a small child wont be makng that mistake again!!

    promising very promising....

    oh and like socal the army compositions are awesome

    aarronpeake, you just won a First class free trip to and tour of the Death Star!! Escorted by none other than Darth Vader himself, for being the first to play (and report) the new XAI!! You can thank Lord Vader too, he was way ahead of the curve. I just improved on his work!! I definitely found the G-Spot for the BAI!!

    Yep i sure did, feels like im playing a diffrent game! Very pleased with the results here, feels like if i go to war with someone i will actually have to plan it and not just go on a one army blitz!

    and if this is not the finished version the thats even better!

    You can add just the BAI files if you would like.

    BAI FILES
    battle_config.xml
    config_ai_battle.xml
    descr_formations.txt
    descr_formations_ai.txt
    descr_pathfinding.txt


    But If you aren't too far into it, I would install all the files. You will see a huge difference in diplomacy, alliances and such. Plus your factions standings will actually work.

    I have been playing as Hungary this round. One of the many things I see that is awesome, is the full garrisons that I am seeing.

    here are some Screen shots of what you will see.

    Some things I would like to point out.
    There have been naval invasions.
    Multiple stacks Attacking
    Very good Garrisons
    Very Good Army Compositions, and size.
    AI is building up it's settlements
    Papal Ratings work very well
    Factions relations also work very well, you get logical alliances, but they are not easy.

    Where do we exract exactly those files?
    Aren't in the 1.0a version?
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    If you go to the first post or click on Xeryx's sig, you'll find the download link to the files.

    PDER 1.0 includeds Lusted's CAI by default. Right now we're testing to see how Xeryx's CAI fares with PDER.

    From the time I've played with it, I've noticed a definite improvement.

    files from DATA FOLDER FILES put into PDER_1.0\data

    You guys could state that clearly in the main post to avoid confusing non-technical people!

    I have fixed the download, Darth's formations should be used with XAI


    Now If you guys who have downloaded the XAI. Can you you please put up some postings on your testing, these guys need to know what's up?

    I pressed the link but i can not find the file to download!!!It apears the main page of file front and i do not knoe where to look...
