Calling all Aussy and NZ players!

Hello everyone,
Since Prince_of_Macedon is making these 10k tourneys that are really fun, I've always wanted to join one, but since they are based in USA time, people like us from Aussy and NZ find it hard to join because of the time zones.
So at a suggestion from Prince, I'd like to rally together all the Aussy and NZ players there are at this forum, and if there is, we might start a tournament of our own! How does that sound?
All comments and other ideas can also be posted here.

P.S. This isn't limited to NZ and Aussy only, anyone near the timezone of GMT+10/11 can show their interest, but will have to state which timezone they are actually in.

Well I don't want to be negative but I think there will be few people actually signing up. It would help if I got to know which time you are planning of having this because I might show up if it's not in the middle of the night of course

I play Julianus Heraclius regularly online in the IBFD mod and he's in Australia - I usually end up playing him in my morning as he's sliding into evening. So keep me posted as I am up for it! Location: Scotland, UK; GMT.

I know an Australian player who's extremely solid, but he doesn't post here. I'll see if he'll be interested in joining a future Aussie/NZ tourney.

If you can get at least 4 players (total), that would be a good tourney. A round robin format would be very sweet.

Anyways I have another 3 Warriors of Troy that might be interested that are from Aussie. I'll see what they're up to.

Also I know a few AoE who are in Australia as well and a few other clannies, like HELL Pheonix.

I'm GMT -7. That's way off from Australia, but I have freedom to play anytime Fri-Sat-Sun (my time). If the tourny happens to fall in that time range, I'll show up.

Well, this is a good turnout so far. I think as Prince said, to start this off, I think a small tourney of around 4-10 people would be nice. However, the more the merrier of course. Well, if I was to host a tourney, it would be either Saturday or Sunday around 8-9pm NZ time, therefore 8-9am GMT.

@Mr. Longbowman: Well I don't know where you are from, but if you see my tourney-hosting times above, I suppose you could work it out.
@SeniorBatavianHorse: That's cool. I don't really play in the mornings, that why I haven't yet joined any of Prince's tourneys. I hope Julianus Heraclius still enjoys RTW Vanilla to an extent, cos I don't have IMFB.
@Prince_of_Macedon: Would be nice to see that Aussy player join. And yes, as soon as we have about 4 people or more, I think I will start a competition up.
@General_Vladmir: Hey from across the Tasman Sea. Brisbane is a nice place for holidays... Well, if you can get those three, plus anymore, then it would be great. That would add quite a good bulk of people to the group.
@piranha45: GMT-7... well that would mean something like 2am for you I think. Don't think that's going to work sorry.

P.S. It's not compulsory, but it would be good if everyone who has contacts can get them to join this forum or something, cos then it's a lot easier for me to organise it.

yeah with the prince thinking about hosting a BI tournament next it might be a good time to get this show on the road, stick up a new thread and see who signs up

Nobody will shoot you for trying and it might be that people are waiting for details etc, but saturday or sunday mornings (UK time ) are OK for me
