new one every term.
OOC: Are you sure? Because in the constitution it says every 2 weeks.
Equestris rises up from his seat.
I have not been forced out because of anyone. I merely am new to politics and ran to early. I have much nostalgia for my X legion and wish to campaign in sicily with them. I beleive that people should get to practice before they step up, although i was a bit cocky when i ran, and should do what they are best at in the meantime. I will gladly accept the position as governor but which cities will i have? Thank you for your time noble senators. May i see you in victoy over sicily.
ooc- im still in yats but want to remain a senator/governor for now. I may run again when i feel i will be expierienced enough.
" Senator, you'd be in charge of Caralis and Aleria; it may be a small proconsulship but this isn't a fool's errant. You'll have to keep invaders off Roman ground and organize a navy strong enough to wipe the rebel pirates and keep provisions and trade coming on and off the islands -- as well as taxes to Rome, which is the greatest revenue you'll provide to the Republic.
As for your Tribune era, while not as stable or experienced as we would like, it was good non the less. You made an important decision when you vetoed, in contrary with most tribunes who refuse to make use of the power, but it was simply mistimed. You will be a good politician, if you but have patience..."

Consvl Corvinvs stands for a final time:
"Senators, as my term is coming to an end, I'd like to congratulate everyone for such a successful year. The public baths should be completed soon, and, hopefully, Sicily will be taken before next year is over. I hope the legionaries in Sicily haven't grown old by now..."

Quintus Marius also stands and raises his hand in a gesture to Marcus Valerius
And we also thank you for doing your duty well even though this first term has been one of relative boredom.
" Senators, your attention please, if I may. I have proposed a Constitutional amendment that could severely help us avoid terms such as these in the future. Take a look at Lex Iunia here and come to debate on the document's value"
