Strat Models as Battle Models?

Sorry if I've made a mistake and I'm mixing this mod up with another I had installed, but I noticed that there was a Battle-map version of the middle-eastern sultan strat model in the files. I was wondering, is this from Kingdoms or a custom job made for this mod, and is there a also a battle map version of the northern european King strat model? Thanks

Hi edders,

The fancy general and middle eastern battle models are indeed from Kingdoms. There are no other new battle models, though my mod does use the early generals mod in place of them.

EDIT: There is a new kings battle model in Kingdoms (used by Richard the Lionheart) but so far no one has been able to get this to work in a mod.

Oh OK, that's a shame. I always thought the King model looked cooler than the sultan model :p Thanks for the reply

Is there anyway to get new models in for captains? Those full plate captains look rather ridiculous.

Personally I think the full plate generals look ridicolous. Especially if you are playing mod that has updated captains that look more regal than the generals.

I have to agree which is why I have added the early generals mod. Generals look way better now.

I actually preferred the full-plate guys, if only because they stood out more. Oh well It's a shame Kingdoms didn't introduce more quality battle-map models. The Welsh/Irish King battle model looked like a bad Rome knock-off.

Wait, I jsut noticed the comment about the Richard battle model. I thought it was just a normal early general. Or maybe one with a beard, can't remember :p
