Default PRO DEO ET REGE: English-language version guinea pig needed

Hey, if someone with a working version of my stupid mod wants to help with sound files here's your chance! What's in it for you? Immortality and a million dollars. Okay maybe not. But +rep from me at the least and credit in patches...

I have English-language sound files here

1] the files in the data folder in this download go in the MAIN M2TW data folder

2] the descr_sound_accent.txt in the mods\PDER_1.0\data folder goes to \mods\PDER_1.0\data folder.

What you can do is make a back-up copy of your sound files in your main vanilla data\folder just in case.

And then delete any sounds .dat or .idx files in your PDER\data\sounds folder and relaunch the game.

The new sound files should generate automatically in your PDER data sounds folder.

Lemme know if you care to help!

Tut! Tut! Not all at once

I'm happy to have a go at this Socal but your link above keeps taking me to my Filefront Account login and not your files!

Can you give another link please?

By the way. Downloaded 1.0 and the Sound files from the quick fix thread and everything fired up first time and is working well.

Quite a few new things to get used to but the mod is wonderful. I've only done 20 turns of an ERE campaign so far but I like the loading screens and the map, and I especially love those little trading galleons.

thanks for the offer! I managed to generate new sound files last night for the English language version and posted them in the Known Bugs, Quick Fixes thread.

Sound should work now if you d/l those files! Cheers!

Ok mate, no worries. 54 turns into my ERE campaign and the only problem I've encountered so far is that it's 03:30 GMT and I really should be getting to bed.
