can this mod be play on hotseat?:hmmm:
Awesome mod! I was waiting for something like this from a long time and cant wait to play it.
Keep the great work.
Great work, I would like to say that those aragonese units are the best I have seen so far, now finally I see some real almughavers.
Looks pretty cool, might even challange SS mod...
I just wonder, will one eventually get Ottoman units later in the game?
Fighting with the Wisdom, the Bosnian Kingdom
The Rum Turks will get access to Ottoman units around 1300 or so. Until then they basically have to rely on Horse Archers and...more horse archers. Their infantry is weak and they have no spearmen. But they have Jav Cav and fairly cheap Turcoman units (HA's, archers, ax-dudes and aforementioned jav cav).
Yes, it is. It´s not easy to expand, and constantly lacking funds. (H/VH)Let me know if a Seljuq campaign is challenging enough...
In terms of gameplay, PDR 1.0 is probably the best mod out there. At least, it is my favourite mod.
thank you for the reply .. but i have one more question any idea when are you planning to release the patch?
Good. I never got the chance to personally play them much. So glad to hear the challenge is still there.
And it's my favourite mod, too If I could only find time to play it....
Mackios alerted me to a Novgorod error with the general unit. I plan on releasing a Hot Fix tomorrow night NY time or so that will take care of a few minor bugs plus the Novgorod problem...
When I try to start a campaign or custom battle, the screen just freeze. I recently rebooted my computer, reinstalled MTW2 and tried installing PDER again, did not work, not even on a fresh install. Vanilla MTW2 and other mods are running fine, I have not played around with text files in vanilla folders or PDER folders and there's nothing wrong with my computer as far as I know.
Has this happened to anyone else?
What may be the problem here?
Hey there King Yngvar. Don't fret. The 'problem' is the game is generating the map.rwm file needed to play the game. Depending on processing power, this can take awhile. I'm running Dual Core E6600 processors and it takes me 8-10 minutes to start up a new campaign.
So be patient! Or if you're the impatient type try downloading my own personal map.rwm
Cheers mate!
This is what you get when you always skip the frontpage. I totally missed this for a second.
Great job Socal!
Too bad I don't have Kingdoms yet.
I'm the impatient type, don't bother waiting 10 minutes every time I start a new campaign, gonna go with the download
Thanks by the way, tought my computer had gone nuts. Guess I needed the reboot anyways, battles are running smooth again...
Socal... what a job!!! I tried it and it's really really excellent...
I tried a new HRR campaign and it's really like I would like to (meaning you do not get everybody on your back at turn 3 )
Good job! (... getting back to his game ...)
