I agree with Monoxx about the castles. We could maybe do something similar to chivalry whereby the catholic factions get castles INSTEAD of cities. But I definatley think Rome Medieval's Castles need to stay one way or another, because they are so unique.
castles instead of cities is an easy idea to do,but its illogical to make london a castle instead of a city,but we can make the settlements in the low levels (village,town,large town) a castle and can be develpoed to a city.
anyway,i will work hard (in july) to make the settlements contain castles.

Have we thought about some new animations for the mounted knights in RM? It would be better, especially for the later ones if they had better couched lance animations.

I have two questions:
1. Are there any chances in future releases for Polish Retainers and Hussars (Racowie in Poland,for Hungarian and Polish) and Gothic Foot Knights? Chivalry TW has model for Gothic Foot Knight you could ask them for using it?
2.Are you thinking about increasing recruit time of some unit like gothic knights and chivalric's?
yea,these units and many other special unique units will be included in the new release,about the other basics like recruit time and others,i will improve them to more realistic.
about the models and stuff,i prefer to create new models and completely new units.

I just thought this might be worth bringing up. I was playing Fourth Age total war mod earlier, and a couple of interesting units caught my eye, this is one of them:
Essentially I think this has been taken straight from M2TW and reskinned slightly - they even use some of M2TW's animations. My point is that I didn't realise you could get M2TW's quality of units and put them in RTW. If we managed to achieve something similar, people would start thinking: why buy M2TW when I can have RM for free? An interesting thought.

they are nice,the model is from M2TW if im not wrong,but the texture is good.
we may use some units from some other mods,there are many good units in every Mod.

Byzantines actually used a dark more blue than purple color. True Purpule color is a fallacy for the Byzantines.

Another thing I noticed with RTW files, and I haven't looked at them in depth a lot, I didn't see any early or Late etc. Era files, but I may have missed them. It's been a long time since I even modded METW1 files.

I want to ask that will the factions be more unique in the next release?Chivlaryc units should be recruited by England,France,Spain,Germany,Milan,but not to every faction.And will Magyar units be unique,because their warfare were different from any other European nation,and their troops(armor,weapon--equipment)were different from other nations.Same goes to Poland,Spain had more unique units too,and The Ottoman Empire used different units compared to other islamic nations.
