SPQR Total War Rocks

SPQR just doesnt get advertised enough, so im put a thread here to say that it just rocks and you need to play it

Agreed. I think I've played pretty much every version of SPQR since it first came out.

Its a shame, sometimes the more advertised mod is thought to be better when other mods that arent relatively known could be as good as or better than the others.

I actually downloaded like last week and I absolutely LOVE it. One thing, though-the load times are pretty long.

It's one of the four best, IMO: Europa Barbarorum, SPQR, Rome Total Realism, and Terrae Expugnandae. No particular order.

My personal favorite lately is Terrae Expugnandae but all of them have their own merits and play style. I've tried them all and they're great fun. Empire Total War? No thanks, I'm busy playing Rome.

OMG!!! The AI doesnt deploy its troops in a one long line anymore! Its a miracle! The campaign rocks too, things get rough right from the start, and its great! The map is kinda smaller than MM, but has a much more realistic touch to it. I was a bit conserned about the loading time, but after restarting the game a few times it got much better.

Thank god I found this mod.
