Yesterday, I played a campaign as France and after a couple of hours, saved, and quit. This morning I loaded the saved game and hit "end of turn" and the game crashed during the rebel (slave) turn. I started a new high campaign with England, played about 4 hours, only this time I saved 4 different times. I quit to make a post in your forum. After which, I loaded my game, hit "end of turn" and again it crashed during the rebel turn. I tried all 4 saves that were previously flawless, and I still got a CTD during the rebel turn. There seems to be a consistant bug every time I save and then try to re-start. It will keep crashing at the rebels turn. Any ideas guys? :hmmm:
which are the 18 factions?
Wait, dose this mean that you play from the start of rome, all the way to end of the medievil era in one game? IF so dose this mean that units, factions would eevolve over the time aswell?it is a full conversion for RTW from the rise of Roman Empire to the Rise of the Medieval Kingdoms, through the rise and fall of the Crusades, continues to the last days of the Medieval age.
Is it just for 1.0 or can you play it with 1.5 too?
how come when i try to install the second or third file i keep getting the options to modify repair or uninstall?
its for RTW 1.5
"it is a full conversion for RTW from the rise of Roman Empire to the Rise of the Medieval Kingdoms, through the rise and fall of the Crusades, continues to the last days of the Medieval age."
that doesnt mean from date of Rome to Medieval ages,it means that the Mod will change RTW from Rome Style and age to Medieval ages style.
hi baron,i will find out what is the problem with the Rebels when i have the enough time.
I really need more infomation "Ojf"
But it sounds as though you have the game installed already and the installer is ask wether you want to modify repair or uninstall?
Did you download all five parts, and extract them all
as one then run the installer, when I tested it that only appeared when the game is installed and you happen to run the installer after that

i think he installed each part and installed each part a lone.
Let me clarifiy
When you download the file from filefront you only need to download parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, once that is done. You then extract all 5 files using winrar, once that is done you will have one text file and one RM2 beta installer setup file, you then run the installer at let it go through it's paces
and you should be done, there is no need to run any other files as there shouldn't be any
So bottom line is there is no second and third file, only in the rar files there are which need to be extracted as one as I have said above
yeah sounds like it, LOTK
Ojf - let us know if that has helped at all

wow this is so ****ing frustrating it still dont work, i cba with it anymore, thanks anyway to the guys who helped me
Do you have, the installer (only one) and the text file, Ojf
Do not double click each rar file or you will end up the 5 of the same installer
If you have, delete all but one installer. (don't delete the Rar files though)
I would suggest starting from the begining, uninstall RM2, then uninstall RTW 1.5,
reboot, install RTW 1.5, then install RM2 (only use one RM2 installer)

Since you get the options "restore" and "uninstall" it means you have already installed it! If it doesn't work that must mean you've installed it wrong! Possibly you have installed into the wrong folder.
Delete all but 1 installer, click on it, and install.
If you get the uninstall option then just uninstall it first and after that click the installer again and install RM2 into the folder that contains your RTW.
doubt its that, i have 3 mods on my computer playable atm, i have some experience with mods
