You are such a tease. When do we get to play with these? I've just finished my 0.1a ERE campaign, which I started last September (well, I achieved the victory conditions anyway), and I'm hankering to have another go.

This version of my mod has consumed the vast majority of my free-time for the past 5 months of my life. So glad someone likes the fruit of me labours

The cinematic editor is rather easy to use. It's like playing a flight simulator!

I hope it's released soon too. Then I can start a proper Pahlava EB 1.0 campaign. And then maybe a Georgian campaign in my mod.

Truth be told, I uploaded it to FileFront overnight last night. Then woke up with a nagging feeling I had mucked something up. And sure enough I did...One bloody unit card was peasant, because of a typo of all things...so you might already be playing were it not for #swodrsmen_militia.tga....

Yup! I downloaded the Kingdoms_0.1a exe on 7th September 2007, and started the ERE campaign, in which I achieved the victory conditions this morning after an epic battle where my army of 2200 was jumped by three HRE armies, each one larger than mine. I won - but only just, and only because my Hungarian allies came and saved my bacon. It's a bit of an achievement as it's the first time I've taken a Med II campaign to the finishing post.

183 turns it took me. I guess I could have worked my way through it a lot quicker but most of my playing time was taken up beta-testing towards the end of last year.

I think my timing is ideal. I'll just wait to download your new baby, and this time I think I'll have a go rebuilding the Pax Romana in it's entirety.

Socal, your skins are beautiful! Every last one of them. Thanks for all your hard work!
P.S. I also used this page as a music exercise: I see an ethnicity, I play an appropriately themed line until the mouse scrolls passed them. Out of curiosity, what are those guys in the fur? Are they Lithuanian?

Thanks! I like to think the beautiful Russian and Lithuanian skins are DisgruntledGoat's and MADTAO's respectively.

The rest of them (i.e. the mediocre ones) are all mine!

The ethnicities in order

1] A Georgian! A brave one at that!

2] The Aragonese!

3] Rus

4] Lithuanians

5] Kypchaks

6] Armenians (or Armos as my buddy calls them!)

7] More Georgians

8] Iranians

9] Turks
