Default Good old battering ram crash

    Hi Guys,

i was just wondering if there is a fix for the CTD that you encounter when mucking about with ram movements too much.

If i'm the only guy who experiences this then unlucky for me.

I'm sure that some of you peeps find this from time to time

    I have Rome 1.5 + EB 1.0 installed

When you are attacking a small town with a ram, i notice that if i accidently order the ram to move just as they have broken through the wall/gate the game does a CTD.

This only occurs if i order the unit just as they are about to drop the weapon/
i know that many people will say "don't do it then!!" , but in the heat of the moment when i am trying to force the offensive it's easily done.

It's not just a problem with EB, it does it with RTW 1.5 as well.

Also i have a complete change of hardware since i last installed the game, and it used to do the same thing with the old hardware too.

    New drivers etc.........so it's a mystery

If it's also a problem with 1.5 then it's not EB's work and it probably can't be fixed by them. This sounds very much like a hard-coded problem (i.e. a bug in the .exe file, which cannot be modded).

Fair is fair and i can't say fairer than that.

I was just hoping that somebody else had experienced this at some time. Oh well will have to be a bit more careful from now on:hmmm:
