Suggestion?

I have EU 3, but the time period, and eventually parts of the game got a little boring to me. I was wondering if HOI2 is a good game for me, if I didn't like EU 3 all that much. I mean, the time period and the basis of the game sound interesting, but is it to complicated?

Far more complicated than EU3, but less so than Victoria

Well, I figured that, but it is more combat focused right? If it is, that part about intrigues me.

Yes, it is indeed far more combat focused.

Well, I tried the demo (which probably does the game no justice because of the small scenario, and I felt a little overwhelmed. Maybe with a little practice I can get better, definetly looks like a game that you get what you put in.

Yeah, you really have to slow the game down alot during pitched battles like that, but the entire game isn't like that.

There is alot more specialized research and production, not to mention no more pesky PTI
