Is it intended,that my agents and generals keep died for no apparent reason? About 10 of them died peacefully within 20 turns,all aged between 20 and 30 and with normal health. Also any diplomat I train dies within several turns. WTF?

gariege, read through the whole thread, and you can find the answer to the problem. they die because the max age for characters and agents are 18. you can change that wery easily if you want it. Just go back to the start of eras 2.2 posts and read it. I had the same question and I got the answer and solution there.

I'm not sure what is I need to delete, from traits, what are c_generic14_3c and the rest. If you would update the file and release it it would be great. Thank you in advance. By the way, did you get my email with the files?

Regarding the general / agent's deaths this was explained on the mod's download page. Below is how to change how often they die.

The diplomats / priests keep dying because I've changed the age at which agents and general start to die from 60 to 18. If you wish them to live longer open the data/descr_campaign_db.xml file and change the

<old_age uint="18"/>
to
<old_age uint="50"/>

and they won't die until they're 50.

Regarding the traits I'll try to edit the files as soon as I can (all 4 of them need to be edited).

tomwushu the only Eras email I recieved contained 3 images with red and white circles on them. I haven't recieved any other files. Also my email account only lets me send email with attachements less than 10mb, so there may be a similar limit for recieving emails.

I downloaded the "total eras zip" to fix the problem with the mod only loading the 1400 campaign however I still have the same problem. Also the textures of the enemy's captain appears to be messed up and occasionally on the campaign map the flags appear to be short and wide.

The mod doesn't work. After I select the era, in a dos windosw it always says file not found when trying to copy different files. I followed the instructions.
Help?

Have your tried downloading the ' total_war_eras.zip' from the first page of this thread and replacing the 'total_war_eras.bat'?

Several have tested it and said that it allows their computer to find the files and transfer them.

My freind has the same Problem as me,
always when we are starting the game,
itīs starting the 1400 campaign.
I have Version 1.4,he however, has the required Version 1.2!
Whatīs the problem???

To everyone who is having a problem with M2TW only loading the 1400 campaign. Downloading the file called 'total_war_eras.zip' on the first post of this thread, unzip it, and replace your version of the 'total_war_eras.bat' file with the downloaded one. Let me know if this does not fix the problem.

Also I was just checking the number of download for this mod. Currently it's 1,165 (This week: 554) . Other than the May Day bank holiday I have no idea why this mod has suddenly become so popular.

Hi i would like to ask about a bug...and i cant find the solution...i reinstalled the game many times... i have kingdoms 1.3.....ok i installed this mod...just as the instructions said....and added all the files to fix the bugs but i keep getting this one bug....i used to have the 1400 bug and when i replaced the files for the bug fixes...i replaced the .bat launcher and it loads everything...then when the loading screen for the game comes up it just gets closed...and brings me back to the windows desktop...any help?...

I tried installing only the normal game....and updating to 1.2 but still not working....loads all the files...then it boot me to the windows desktop....does it works on vista?

Some of the files used to fix the 2.1 bugs will prevent the 2.2 version from working. I've added a warning below the 2.1 bug fix section to highlight this.

has anybody else had a problem of the tabs on the world map because mine are just white and i cant tell which each 1 is and i cant see details on the cities or the armys inside a city please help and can anyone tell me if you can play through the eras from the first as i cant go on end turn thanks

hi im having another problem....every time i fight norway faction...in the 970 campaign while loading the battle the game crashes and say....medieval2 has found an unespecified error....what could that be =(

Your problem is most likely caused by a missing Danish "Peasant Archer" texture. On the first post of this thread is the missing texture (en_peasant_pidded_normal.texture) and instruction on where to put it.

If this does not fix the problem please inform me of what units you were using and whether any specific unit seemed to be causing the crash.

The game crashes when loading for battle in th 970 mod against the cumans and the cyprus in another mod. I got around the problem by the hotseat option. However I was fighting the HRE and after the auto battle, the game crashed. Also in the 1300 mod, you can't fight the crusaders state because the game crasehes when loading the battle screen.
