So that means that there will still be a release. That is great news! Keep up the good work guys!
Edit(17.01.2011): Are you going to make a release by the end of february?

When will this mod be finished??? I am looking forward to this mod ever since first announcement in January 2008 but its now been 3 years!! Is there beta I can test/try?

For now I have to play RTW and mods like RS2 (bad graphics ) and M2TW fantasy mod THERA which has "Roman" units. Roman fan very sad

I understand you but you can't blame anybody with the completion of the mod since is made like people like us dedicated to bring their ideas to life. If they discover along the way that they do not have the necessary resources and time to make it happen you can't argue with them about it because they have problems and can't finish what they've started. For now, the very few people that still attend to this mod ar working as much as they can to release us a beta (as a legacy of what the mod is) and let us enjoy a roman era mod in the Med 2 TW engine. As for RTW mods and RS2, you can't blame them for the graphics. The RTW engine was pushed to maximum by RS2 and that is the apex of what can be done using Rome TW. But you don't need to despair or get angry about it, modding teams ar migrating to Med 2 TW engine:
Europa Barbarorum, Invasio Barbarorum (with a beta release), Paeninsula Italica(with a beta release) and other people who want to bring their one vision of a Roman era mod using Med 2 TW engine such as Mare Nostrum team . And this won't be the end of it, you will see.
As for "De Bello Mundi" i can just hope it can be released as soon as possible. But we simply need an update from the team to have at least a proof that this is still breathing.

Will you please at least tell us if it's dead so that we (the ones from the community that STILL wait for that beta you said it will come out) can stop chasing wild horses!

Wow, still drawing breath! At least give us a look up from time to time and feel free to say ( well, write) a release date. You know, an aprox. 1 , 2 or 12 months... give us a CLUE... i am browsing this thread almost everyday since december last year and I really think you should consider the fans too not just the work on the mod. Thanks for the reply. It's a relief to read this. Thanks!

    Nice
