Thread: No Sound For Rajputs?

    Default No Sound For Rajputs?

I just tried to start a Solanki Rajput campaign and for some reason, my characters/units have no sound. Is this intended or is it a bug because when I play other factions, the rajputs do speak.

I apologise for the bump but I still need help.

    Correct this problem:
Copy events.dat and events.idx from your main Medieval II Total War\data\sounds to Broken Crescent\data\sounds.

Your units should have sounds. The campaign map doesn't because the Mongolian voices have no campaign map version. When we port to Kingdoms we'll give them the America's strat voices.

The fix is to go into descr_sounds_accents and move those from Mongolian to Arab. This will get you campaign map voices, but Arabic ones.

I am not sure why they don't have any voices on the battle map. That event fix should do it for you, if not, mention that it didn't and we'll see how to fix it.

Hey, if someone helped us voice act some good quality Indian commands and phrases I would add them in right away.

Native americans are the best we have!

Maybe you should contact Teleklos Archelaou from EB team. Couple of months ago they were looking for Indo-persian speakers for same purpose

I believe they have found some that were willing to help.
