Downloaded off Steam...?

So, I downloaded my copy of MTW:II off Steam, Valve's (the counter strike people) online gaming marketplace...thing. Anyway, does anyone know of this particular "version" of the game is incompatible with Broken Crescent? I downloaded the mod, updated my MTWII to 1.02, click the BC icon on my desktop, and all that loads is regular MTWII. Very frustrating, any thoughts?

Or, just use the steam users fix that I supplied as soon as I downloaded BC and works for any mod of M2TW if you have steam.

that only works if you installed it in the main m2tw folder...
not if you have it in /mods/

And what is that?

Also Nicolas, how do I get rid of your fix? It doesn't work and the fact it edits registry files scares me.

Look through the first post in the thread I linked you to..."Steam users fix" or something.

are you sure you're typing the @ sign as well under launch options?

There we go i fixed it i forgot so say something since in Bc theres an exeption...
from other mods since other mods ussualy place the preference word pad inside there folders
