    Default Problem with AI control

    Basically I am launching an attack on a city with one stack and there are two other stacks of mine adjacent.
    The stack I am using has siege weapons, the others do not. So I decide that I only want the one stack to attack, otherwise the others will suffer casualties walking around the city (the city only has three units defending it, so three stacks are overkill).
    Therefore before the battle I uncheck the boxes that say "Allow the AI to control this army".
    However when I enter the battle I find that both of the stacks are under AI control, and do end up suffering many casualties by charging some pikemen with cavalry.
    Is this a problem with the mod, with RTW and is there any work-around, because when I uncheck the box that allows the armies to be controlled by the AI, I expect them not to be controlled by the AI.

    Do you have unlimited men allowed on the battlefield set?

    Otherwise, no ideas here. This would be an RTW function.

    I've read elsewhere that you should not inspect the composition of the AI army as this can cause a problem.

    I play RS with BI and I don't have this problem. Are you playing with RTW rather than RTW BI?

    Nope, I'm using BI. Although I do have a habit of inspecting the armies, so maybe this is the problem.

    Yeah the moment you inspect the army all armies are ack to AI control, learnt that the hard way too :/

    Did you safe after setting of the AI. Because then it will be on again.
