Fitz Salnarville, Duke William's favourite knyghte,
To noble Edelwarde his life dyd yielde;
Withe hys tylte launce hee stroke with thilk a myghte,
The Norman's bowels steemde upon the feeld.
Old Salnarville beheld hys son lie ded, 235
Against Erie Edelward his bowe-strynge drewe;
But Harold at one blowe made tweine his head;
He dy'd before the poignant arrowe flew.
So was the hope of all the issue gone,
And in one battle fell the sire and son.
A link would be nice
The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all.

Yes a link and some more details, possible some pics too.

I'm trying out Extended game play now, one thing I noticed is the bartender in the Zendar Tavern doesn't have anything for you.
oh wait I got this mixed up with Band of warriors! I didn't care for EGP because of the speed factor if I remember correct this time!
I played this, and I had a real blast too. The problem is I don't really like how the game works, its terribly imbalanced against the player. Your average barbarian and knight (which you will encounter hundreds of throughout your journey) will have amazingly powerful stats, such as 50 strength and 30 agility, which is more then the player could ever hope to achieve even if he played to level 60, which is near impossible. Even the lowly river pirates (now shipwrecked crews) have pretty good stats, my level 40 knight with the best plate mail in the land can get 1-shotted by a lowly Barbarian with a pointy stick (I'm playing on normal damage, but really, you think armor would do something!). I wish he didn't give the enemies such massive advantages, and its the main reason I stopped playing that mod.
Best mod hands down. Makes native seem so... native!
Thanks guys. I'm glad you enjoy it.
Version 4.15 ready: http://forums.taleworlds.net/index.p...html#msg883609

Yep I'll probably try this once I'm done with BoW.

there's now a nice set of troop upgrade charts here:

and a walkthrough for the quests here:

I really like the atmsphere and the setting, but as mentioned above, it can get a little too tough (and hectic, with the increased speed).
It was taking me way too long to level up and get decent equipment, and I kept getting killed everytime I tried to fight a group of anything higher than 10 Bear Scouts.
Its a shame theres no way to skip to the renaissance bit right away.
you can skip to Illumination age right away, talk to Ramun about a ship. But the new random equipment isn't saved.
trust me, you will get used to the difficulty, and as you learn about the new troops/items/gameplay elements it will get less challenging, and you can level up quickly. (make sure you're using the troops from Ramun)
Thanks for the tip mate, will give it a try!
updated the mod to 4.23.
