Whoa, I forgot about this one... When I read it, I decided to make some, and then it went completely out of my mind. When I can, I'll make some screenies (not a super-high quality, though, (only a decent,) as my VGA is a bit aged, and can't handle AA, for example).
Of course, if anybody else feels like doing this, and has free time for it (and maybe even some nice graphics, too), they're absolutely welcome to making screenies for this mod.

then I just hade to try this mod, and it worked
I was so happy, I played Ren TW all night until I had to go to work. god deam!!! This mod got sooo much potenciale and it inspiers me to begin moding myself I love it.
Its like Ive tried the demo and waiting for the big game.
Back to topic: Is this thread ment for upcomming 3.0? or 2.75?
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga- The pranks played on the knight Jean de Joinville, 1249, 7th crusade.I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

The topic is for 2.75.
Yes, indeed, this version is meant as a kind of a demo.
And thanks for the compliments, I'm very glad you enjoy our mod's current state so much.

Sigh, this thread was made 4 months ago, and STILL no screenshots have been posted...
close it.
to catch a fish,so juicy sweeeeeet
Rather than closing it, I'll post some screenies here.
You know, I was counting on other members or fans to post them. I used to have a somewhat old VGA (Radeon X550), but now I've got a Radeon HD3650 for my birthday, thus I could make some decent shots.
I'll put them in a spoiler box, so that it won't load for ages on slower machines.

I hope these give some players the will to play this mod.

these screenies dont look very different to med
have you actually changed anything with the units?
"...and all the men and women merely players."
This is how it goes: RenTW 2.75 doesn't add anything new; it only takes away units which are not fitting for a Renaissance-time mod and does other tweakings to place the battlefield in the later centuries. Version 3.0 will (if it ever gets ready) feature completely new units.
