Army disappears?

Well I just started playing I was about 6 turns into the game and laying siege to Tabriz (Rebels) with my Great Seljuk army. I decided not to storm the city but on the final turn for the siege to end my army just vanished, no message that they were bribed they simply disappeared into the desert sands.

I assume this is a bug Its a fresh install everything else appears to be working fine.

Did you hear "breaking off the seige!" as the turn came back to you? Or did you see the "A Traitor to our people" drop down message below the End Report message on the left? He may have bailed/rebelled. Send a spy to check out the area if you cant see it, you may find your general has gone "Colonel Kurtz" on you. Find him and kill him.

No messages nothing to indicate that he was bribed.

Just checked no general in the city, vanished disappeared off the planet.

I'm guessing Allah didnt want that general to live. But some generals are known to do an Elvis quite early in the campaign (i mean rebel without being bribed or anything). It happened to me on turn 3 in my Ghaznavid campaign, and turn 5 of my Makuria campaign. If your sure its an X file case, post it in the tech/bug forum at the top of the page.

I hope you find him. That sona***** has got some explaining to do.

I depends on faction leader Authority(faction leader never rebels, what for if he is a king allready), army leader loyalty, distance to capitol, suicide mission, faction standing (overall score), "default" change of having an amy to rebel. I think those are factors that baries the chance of rebeling your army.

Just a small update I checked all over the place for this guy he was a family member no sign of him or his army anywhere, Unfortunately I started the game again and forgot to check the family tree, now that auto-save is gone. Anyhow I played on from an early save and 4 turns later the army took the city without disappearing.
