Sons of Jupiter
This is a story I'm doing at home this is a different version of the original that I have planned.
But first background info on this make belief chapter. The chapter is called The Sons of Jupiter,
Jupiter short for Jupiter Prime, the planet they draw recruits from. Thats all I'm going to tell, just read and find out more during the story.
Prologue
A ship lumbered through space its colours, were a Pale green
background with the rear, front and roof were a dark dull
green. It had on it a symbol, it was a loral leaf crown,
with two bolts of lightning stricking down from the
two top corners, it was the symbol of the Sons of jupiter Chapter.
They came with a purpose.
Chapter 1
The ship approached a planet, a planet called Isis III. It soon
began to move faster, but you can't see it properly in
space. It progressed to the planet, soon reacjing orbit and
looking down at the planet of Isis III. The continents were
tropical green, all of them except the poles who were ice
blue and looked lifeless as Luna.
Then five more ships sped from behind the battle barge,
and then took orbital positions and awaited orders. These
were ships of the Inquisition and Imperial navy. Three were
were from the Navy, one from the Adeptus Mechanicus and
one from the Inquisition its self including the Space Marines
battle barge.
Then landing craft and drop pods decended to the planet
ready for war. Inside one of the drop pods was Brother
Captain Marius Laebinus, sat strapped to a seat and
ready for battle. He wasn't scared. A Space Marine
knew no fear. He still saw men muttering prayers to the
God-Emperor of Mankind and their Primarch. Marius turned
to one of his brother's and said, "Varus how much longer till
planet fall?" Varus turned his head, "Fifty seconds until we
reach Isis III my lord," he replied. "Good," said Marius and
he looked away and started praying.
Time went by as the drop pod drew nearer and nearer to
the surface, of Isis III. "Thirty seconds everyone," called
out Varus, he took his plasma gun and placed it on his lap,
it didn't harm him. Yet. But he hoped it wouldn't explode and
stop him fighting for good, yet, it never did. "Ten seconds
brothers." Then 5...4...3...2...1. The drop pod crash landed
as it was supposed to do. "By the Emperor, that was rougher
than usual," swore Gaius, as he took his straps off. "GO! GO!
GO!" shouted Marius, and the Space Marines lept out of the
entrance and touched the ground of Isis III...
