    try restarting the computer, that worked for me, for some reason med 2 wont load if the computer has been on a while, so a quick restart and it loads right up.

    Medieval 2 works,BC doesnt.

    It's working fine for me on Vista with patch 1.2 after the BC.cfg file fix.

    Do I lose anything by not being patched to 1.3?

    OK, I can confirm, that ZorboZ did something wrong during installation, as his bc.cfg file is definitely not correct. I suppose you have pointed the installer to the wrong directory!

    You have to select the path of your original Medieval 2 installation, e.g. C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II\ or the one you selected during the original installation. The installer will do the rest automatically.

    Moved from bugs. Please, restrain from posting responds there.

    Since your responds seems to be giving some advice, I decided to translate it so that other with similar issues can use it. Don’t make me do this again.

    in english: I had the same problem. You still have to install event.dat and .idx., then it should work. The reason for this is because, in English version, the faction (in problem) use Mongolian voices. In German version, they have to be replaced with eastern voices. Read through the quick fixes once again, inc case you missed something out.

    @whoGo,
    ich hatte das selbe Problem. Du musst noch die event.dat und .idx installieren, dann müsste es eigentlich klappen. Das liegt daran weil in der Englischen Version diese Fraktionen die Stimme der Mongolen haben. In der deutschen Version wurden sie mit östlichen sprüchen versehen. Lies dir nochmal die Fixes durch und sieh ob du auch alles gemacht hast.
