Another example of a loading screen. One of my favourites

    It's beautiful

About the background wall: another option would be a wooden background, that always looks good behind parchment Just a suggestion though, I like the wall too actually

Something like what I did with my Interface

Thanks again. I'm planning on sticking with the wall though. Original plan was to try and have a bit better lighting effects on the wall so I may change that slightly or get Makanyane to.

Your interface looks nice. What did you use that on? We were using the different pictures but as they are all different sizes Makanyane came up with the parchment bit.

Wow nice loaders, also; what are your quotes n stuff gonna be on. Just British Isles factions? Or quotes relevant too them? Or- ?

I was intending to revamp the quotes to be related to the British Isles only. It may be that some are not quotes more historical fact/reference.

You mean the background ? It's a wooden table, the best one I could find. It looks nice after some photoshop tricks

BTW, I think the wall looks great. Suits the Medieval theme very good IMO

A question on modifying the menu.Int file -- I have experienced fairly consistent crashes upon starting a campaign, if this file is modified. The game doesn't crash every time, but maybe 1 in 5 campaign starts, or 1 in 6. Have you experienced an problems with crashes upon a new campaign?

Its been a while since we looked at that but I assume you meant mtw2.int? No, we've not had any problems. Does the issue occur straight away or sometime into the game?

It occurs sporadically when you start a new campaign...

If you need more quotes, there is a nice one in reference to Brian Boru

'For he was not a stone in the place of an egg, or a wisp in the place of a cudgel, but he was a hero after a hero, and he was valour after valour'.

@riadach - isn't that a bit early though. I was intending to use either historical events or quotes from within the period if possible. (I know some of the interface pictures are later.. so I'm sort of contradicting myself).

Awesome-est loading screens ever. It's even nicer than LordSnow's ones for the Westeros mod. I think I'm going to keep an eye on this mod...

    Good work!

"Five had been his brothers. Oswell Whent and Jon Darry. Lewyn Martell, a prince of Dorne. The White Bull, Gerold Hightower. Ser Arthur Dayne, Sword of the Morning. And beside them, crowned in mist and grief with his long hair streaming behind him, rode Rhaegar Targaryen, Prince of Dragonstone and rightful heir to the Iron Throne."

@mak, every time I see your work I find myself humbled and inspired.

    I don’t care if Empire2TW is released before this – I’ll play it as a 30yo!
    Keep up the inspiring work

Wow, just saw it now, but imho the best interface there is for a tw mod? Especially with the scroll. Its a pain to read faction descriptions if the background is full of colours e.g. a background map or something...

Just one thing, is it possible to make the font a little bit darker? Seems still a bit too bright too me Or else, make the scroll a tiny bit darker!

But everything else is damn fine, its a completly different interface style. Unusual and very cool

truly awesome work! it really does what many try but only few ever achieve: to give the mod a simple but at the same time very realistic medieval appearance and atmosphere... keep it up!

A mini-mod is never late! Nor is it ever early. It arrives precisely when I mean it to do!
