    Default Got a problem!!! Help needed

    Ok hi!! names randy!! i got a problem with vespers here!! I downloaded the game and all that and it installed fine and what not. So when it got finished i went to play it and it loaded the little black screen where you type in the letter for the "Era" of time! nad it just exits out and doesnt load!!! any comments or anwsers to this??? oohh yeah and i dont have any medieval games on my comp yet!! if that helps!! (also trying to install m2tw but thats not working either) (bad file "data_2.pack) Thx for the comments in advance!!!

    Welcome.

    Did you check all install-infos in the stickied threads (FAQ, mod info, release info, non-english versions). It seems you miss some relevant things.

    -> SV 2.5 needs a working MII 1.2 or 1.3 as install base.

    I guess you do not really mean that you nave NOT installed M2TW in your PC!!!

    This is a modification meaning you NEED to have the original game installed. Otherwise it's only natural to see the .bat comencing but failing having nothing to batch to!

    no i havent instlled m2tw on my comp yet! im trying to but it has a data_2.pack file error so im kinda trying to get it to work!!! but thx for telling me it need to batch on to the original version of the game!!! any advise on the data_2.pack file error problem i got???

    What? If you install from the dvd, you get an error message? Go back to the shop, and exchange the MIITW package.

    i cant really!!! i got it like 2 years ago and i just started playing it again last week!!! but i got it working now!!!! i got it cleaned up and it installed fine!!! im downloading the patch right now and im going to play today!!!! is there anything else i need to update to play online???

    MIITW was released in October 2006, if i remember correct.

    For the SV installation, just check the stickied threads (release, FAQ, mod info).
    As for multiplayer, i guess you need to have the exact same build on all players machines, and especially the base folder needs to have the according map.rwm file of the campaign that you intend to play (i have no experience with SV multi player, so i can't say something reliable).
