    Default Some questions

First of all Happy New Year to all RTW modders and fans!

Thank you for the best x-mas gift ever! 58BC mod!
It is a great mod! I'm so excited about it, I really enjoy being Julius Caesar!

    I have three questions though.

    1) All of my generals have some traits like ex-legatus, ex-tribune etc. What is this about?
And shouldn't it be legatus, tribune, etc since they actually command my legions in battles?

    2) Where can I hire some more belearic slingers? I had 1 unit in the start but I can't find any other unit available to hire.

    3) Where can I train more Scorpions? Will they be available if I expand my italian cities?

    Thanks.

Greetings, pcaravel, and Happy New Year too

    1) I have uploaded this folder with some documents that explain how the Roman Leadership system, created by Marcus Camillus, works:

    2) Once the Civil War starts and you conquer Italy or Spain, some of their regions have this unit available as Mercenaries.

    3) You will need to build a siege engineer (Fabricae Ballistae) and the Provincial Barracks (Castrum Provincialis) in any of your settlements.

    Glad you enjoy the mod

Just delete the 58BC folder and the shortcut that you (or the install program, depending on the version) have created.

    That is all

Well, I have read the Roman Leadership documents, I thought I understood everything (great system by the way!) so I started a new campaign to test it.

However, not everything worked out as I expected.
In this screenshot I have Gaius Trebonius who is a Former Legate with 8 years of military service as an Tribune!

So, when he is on field with troops he doesn't get the Tribune trait, he doesn't get any Command bonuses, his military service counter always remains at 8 years and he will never become a Legate.

Actually, he is an officer that has served as a Legate, but now he can't even be a Tribune. He must fell very disappointed!

Why is this "anomaly" happening? What can I do to get him back to his military career?
