I haven't tried the Battle AI yet but the Campaign AI is great! Lots of alliances (which have their own pitfalls when you have to break them) and less agressive AI in the beginning of the campaign.

Yes, people usually think it to be reasonable. However it wasn't a custom.

Actually when a king dies the diplomacy settings should go a certain step toward neutrality. Every king may have different politics.

all files are needed? I love AI progress(At 5 turns,portugal fight Lisboa,Aragon Saragossa,Castilla Toledo),but less alliances.
